• Scripting can make or break the video!
• If the research isn’t presented in a way that it itches the brain of the viewer and compels them to keep watching, all the effort put into it goes to waste.
• So, I’ll take excerpts from few scripts an break it down here, explaining what was my thought process while scripting down the video.

It all begins with the intro!

Intro

The Intro just have a one purpose for the video, and it’s a strong one: To cue all the strong points of the video in a coherent flow which gives the viewer a good reason to watch it!

Hook

• Hooks can be of various types - examples, incidents, Coming up section, Questions, etc.

• But what worked the best for this channel was : A bold statement quickly followed by a resource validating it.

• Not just to grab the viewer’s attention hooks also work as a promising method to let viewers know that video contains the stuff for which they clicked it for (The idea, Thumbnail and Title)

Build up

• The build up comes into play to
• The best way to do is to feature in the extreme examples from the video
• Giving the context to those examples/incidents and leading it to the video curiosity loop.

• The thing to care here is it’s just the gist of the video that we’re sharing.
